There has been some activity on the crafty side of things.
Burgundy Cowl, re-knit. The burgundy Koigu was just too luscious not to rip and make it again. This time with smaller needles that gave the perfect size.
Then there was this period when the weather couldn't make up it's mind. Warm-cold-rainy-sunny, alternately, and sometimes all in one day. Naturally as soon as I'd finished the cowl and the mitts, the weather became too warm to wear them.
Once, when I visited a customer, I walked past this awesome craft shop afterwards. Many a sampler pack of fat quarters were bought that day. These two fabrics came from the black and white pack.
Some progress on the Fraternal Socks. They are coming out as I'd imagined they would. My colleagues are going to add another thing to the list of "weird things she does", but that's as it should be.
I wanted to do something with the grey acrylic I'd bought for the bathroom rug and unraveled. Together with two unused skeins they are going to make a blanket for Sona. Easy to wash and won't show grey hairs so much. Hopefully.
I haven't got much handwork planned for this summer, but I want to make more bags and do some spinning. Maybe more socks. There's always room for more socks.
