Fingerloop braiding (short: fingerlooping) is an old way of producing narrow wares that I thought was completely lost with industrialisation. I have been proven wrong by this awesome video.
The original post on Väkerrystä - Dabbling in Nalbinding was about nalbinding, which is another old technique that has been revived lately.
But what caught my attention was fingerloop braiding (starts at 2:27 in the video). In living skills in the 40's in Norway! Awesome!
