This is just a short note to let you know I haven't dropped dead or gotten a heat stroke. It is so hot here that I can't even think of touching wool, not to mention knit with it. The only thing that is bearable in this heat is to read books. David Eddings is the author of two of my favorite trilogies: The Elenium and The Tamuli. I have finally been able to get my hands on his earlier work The Belgariad and The Malloreon. While I enjoyed both, I still like Sparhawk and his companions more. His latest book (Book III of The Dreamers) should be available here sometime in the fall and I am waiting impatiently to read it.
Mao looking regal.
