It was one of the best events I've ever been to. Relaxed, beautiful and filled with good folks. As usual, I got to meet old friends and make new ones.
My Laurel has taken on a student and we hit it off from the start. We had many interesting discussions and came to the conclusion that we have lots to learn from each other.
This is what I saw every morning when I got up and looked left.
I only needed to turn right and had the view of the main camp.
The bridge battle was scenic.
We had some friends over for supper on Sunday and I thought that the lit pavillion was beautiful.
On Sunday morning I gave a class on how to make a Vade Mecum (a folded belt book). The A&S activities were not very organised, so I'd been afraid that there would be no students at all. In the end there were seven. Yay! Everyone finished their books and were happy with them. Double yay! It was so nice to see people walking around with books hanging from their belts for the rest of the day.
I had such a good time I'll be back again, soon. I won't wait another three years this time. Maybe not camping (putting up a large pavillion in a gale was not fun), but back nevertheless.
