The Christmas was fun and quiet. We went to our friends' house, had some Finnish and Swedish Christmas dishes, lots of fun playing Munchkin and had a good time in general. We had some more "Ireland" moments too. For example trying to get a taxi on 25th is nigh impossible if you have not pre-ordered it. Because there were no bus service on 25th and no taxis, we walked from Blanchardstown to Tyrrelstown. It took us about 1.5 hours and we were thoroughly tired afrewards.

This year's presents were excellent: an alarm clock, some loose leaf tea and a teapot, the second expansion and dice set for Munchkin, a handmade candle and Lush massage heart, and some money I'm planning to spend in a Lush store downtown Dublin. Mom also sent me some Estonian candy I love and Estonian gingerbread cookies. Yum! Of course the best gift of all was spending time with R.
