The gloves are finished. They look quite alike, but they are not identical.

Terje wondered how I'd made the thumb increases on these gloves. I used a variant of traditional Estonian glove thumb gusset. I just increased every other row with YO's, but twisted the YO on the next round so there are no holes. I also alternated which side of the previous YO I made the next one to make them line up. Hmmm... This is tough to explain by words, here's a chart.

I – knit stitch;
O – yarn over;
◊ – twisted knit stitch.
