I liked making the first one so much that I made another. One of the reasons I love this style of embroidery is that it's completely freehanded. You pick an element that you want to make and then you fill it up with other elements however you like.
You can make it sparse...
... or you can fill it up tight. It's all up to you how you combine the elements.
Another thing I love about this is that it's supposed to be uneven, asymmetric, and wonky. The perfectionist me can let go and embrace not having a drawing, or even a plan, and just stitch what comes into my head.
And speaking of the first one, I changed it. The red moon was wrong, so I made it into a red star. The balance is much better now.
